Seminar: The Pastoral Visit
In response to Pope Francis’ call for a Year of Mercy, a number of parishes in South Manhattan are pleased to help you explore pastoral outreach during an educational session sponsored by ArchCare, the healthcare ministry of the Archdiocese of New York. We are very happy to share that the session will be led by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm who bring with them extensive experience in ministry at the parish as well as institutional level. This seminar includes an overview of the meaning of the ministry of care based on the Sacred Scripture and the life and philosophy of Mother M. Angeline. Mother Angeline’s Philosophy of care is the basis for this ministry and the mission of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and the Infirm. This session provides the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of the ministry, Scripture, and the life and philosophy of Mother M. Angeline, as well as the individual call to ministry.
$25 registration includes materials, lunch and refreshments.
