The Many Sounds of Spring:
Sun Apr 26 @ 4PM & Mon Apr 27 @ 7PM
The Salvatones, directed by Daniel Brondel, return to Historic Saint Peter's Church in Lower Manhattan for a new spring and Eastertide tradition: The Many Sounds of Spring!
Joined again by string ensemble, New York Virtuosi, led by Peter Kiral, and Stephen Fraser, organist, this concert features works by Joseph Haydn, George Friderick Handel, Randall Thompson, Thomas Morley, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pietro Mascagni, and more. This concert also features many of the standards found on our "Wonderful World" album, with arrangements by Daniel Brondel, Roger Wesby, and others.
Many Sounds of Spring is a wonderful mix of styles, genres and languages, from Classical to Jazz. After such a long (!) winter, come join us as we celebrate the warmth, joy, renewal of spirit, and birth of new life that is the season of spring.
