Our Second Annual 50/50 Raffle!
Last year we launched this exciting fundraising campaign to much success raising $10,850 for the parish with three winners taking home $10,850 in prize money. The proceeds from last year’s raffle were used to support vital parish infrastructure projects. With a 180 year old church, significant capital expenses are incurred each year to maintain the beauty and safety of St. Peter’s Church. In addition we are also responsible for maintaining the chapel, which is an important part of our parish community. In an effort to defray some of these capital costs the parish will be selling raffle tickets with half of the proceeds going to the parish and the other half going to three winners.
To help keep the odds of winning high and still accomplish our goal of raising $15,000 for the parish, the tickets will cost $100 each with a maximum of 300 tickets being sold. Assuming all 300 tickets
Grand Prize: $10,000
Second Prize: $ 3,000
Third Prize: $ 2,000
(note a 2.7% surcharge will be collected for credit card use). If you choose to purchase online, a copy of your ticket will be emailed to you. In addition, tickets can also be purchased by mailing a check made out to St. Peter’s Church (please include your phone number on the bottom of the check) along with a self addressed stamped envelope to the parish office at the following address:
St. Peter's Church, Attention Deacon Jim Brown, 22 Barclay Street, New York, NY 10007
The drawing will be held and winners announced at a community dinner following the 4:00PM mass on
Saturday April 18, 2015
. Please note that you need not be present at the dinner to participate in the raffle.
As I mentioned, tickets are limited so if you’d like to participate, please purchase a tickets as soon as possible! Last year we fell short of our goal, so please consider participating in this exciting fundraising opportunity. I thank you in advance for your continued support of our parish.
if you would like to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets on the website.
